Ever wonder what's lurking on your apple skin?

Pesticides are essential for protecting crops, but who wants a side of chemicals with their fruit?

This study shows how a technique called SERS (think fingerprint for molecules!) can quickly and easily detect pesticide residue on apple skin, even in tiny amounts.

That means safer apples for you and less mystery about what you're eating. So next time you grab an apple, you can rest assured knowing science is on your side, keeping it pesticide-free (or at least within safe limits).

Learn more about keeping your apples safer! Check out our application note on pesticide detection using SERS:
