Did you know that Carbon dioxide was discovered in 1754 ? 


On June 11, 1754, Scottish chemist Joseph Black first discovered cardon dioxide. He discovered that upon heating calcium carbonate a much heavier gas was produced, one that was denser than air, he called this gas ‘fixed air’, we now know it as carbon dioxide.
